Electronics International has a large selection of optional functions pilots can monitor on the UBG-16, FP-5, FP-5L, MVP-50P and MVP-50T. These modules give pilots the ability to increase the functionality of their already versatile Electronics International instruments. The UBG-16 can monitor virtually any temperature, but with the addition of function modules, you options grow to include Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, RPM, Manifold Pressure, Volts, Amps and Gyro Vacuum. Because the UBG-16 monitors up to sixteen input channels at a time, even with a fully loaded UBG-16 (monitoring all EGT's and CHT's), you will always have room to monitor additional functions. The UBG-16 also has gives pilots the unique capability of programming upper and lower limits for each input channel, so you can customize redlines for all sixteen channels. Don't forget, the UBG-16 also comes complete with the MUX-8A Data Recorder, so whichever functions you decide to monitor on the UBG-16 will always be recorded for later review and analysis. The FP-5 & FP-5L do a fantastic job of accurately monitoring fuel flow, fuel on board, fuel used, time to empty, horsepower and more, but they also have an Auxiliary Channel. The Auxiliary Channel can be used to monitor an input from one of Electronics International's many Function Modules. Like the UBG-16, the FP-5 and FP5-L allow you to program an upper and a lower limit for the Auxiliary Channel, so you'll be immediately alerted if the function being monitored on the Auxiliary Channel exceeds a programmed redline. The MVP-50 has redefined what an analyzer should be, and has broken all the boundaries as far as allowing pilots to customize just about anything. Along with all of the programmable screens, redlines, checklists, weight and balance pages and more, the MVP-50 allows you to use any of Electronics International's Function Modules to monitor a slew of information. The MVP-50 is even more advanced however, since it not only has a complete line of Function Modules specific to the MVP-50, but it also allows you to create custom inputs. This means you can monitor everything from CO2 levels in the cockpit to whether or not a baggage door is open. The options are virtually limitless. |
